Optimum Wellness Centres is pleased to accept Direct Billing for MOST Canadian Insurance Providers. Whether you receive chiropractic care, massage therapy, physiotherapy, naturopathic medicine, acupuncture, custom orthotics, or any other service, MOST major insurance companies provide coverage for all or a portion of the service fees. We recommend you confirm with your insurance provider whether they provide direct billing and the insurance coverage provided under your plan.
If allowed by your insurer, we can directly bill your insurance company for your treatments. Depending on your policy, the coverage would mean either minimal or no out-of-pocket expenses for you and save you time. Optimum Wellness Centres offer this service at no additional charge.

Do I need a Doctor’s referral to access my coverage?
Most Optimum Wellness Centres services are available without a doctor’s referral. However, certain Insurance Policies require a doctor’s referral for you to have the treatment fee reimbursed. We recommend you check with your insurance provider to determine if a doctor’s referral is required for you to access your coverage.
Would I have to pay anything out of pocket?
This depends on your benefits plan.
What treatments are covered under direct billing?

Can you determine the total visits covered by my insurance?
We can create submissions on a real-time basis. If you want to check your coverage, remaining balance, deductible, or other benefits you will need to contact your insurance provider.
Can you bill for 2 services on the same day?
Yes, we can direct bill for two different services provided on the same day.
Who covers the services in case of a Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA)?
Optimum Wellness Centres is approved for MVA treatment. For any injury caused by a motor vehicle accident, many of the services are covered by both your extended health plan benefits and also by your automobile insurance. Our clinic assistants will ensure the right funding sources are accessed depending on your injury and treatment.
Who covers the services in case of a Worker’s Compensation?
Optimum Wellness Centres is approved for Worker’s Compensation treatment. For any workplace injuries, you may be eligible for coverage through the provincial Worker’s Compensation Boar. Our friendly Clinic Assistants will help you through the claims process, documentation, and reporting requirements. Optimum Wellness Centres will coordinate with all parties involved in managing your work injury.
What happens if we are unable to process your direct billing ?
If we are not able to process your direct billing, we would have you pay the treatment fee either via cash, credit card or debit and provide you with a receipt. You could then submit the receipt to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
