Dr. Cindy Woo graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1995 and has practiced in Calgary ever since. Her love of chiropractic is evident in the laughter, time, and care that she shares with her patients. She actively involves her patients on their road to health and wellness by creating personalized stretches and exercise programs for them.

Dr. Woo has been a fitness instructor since 1991, but she still could not tell you which is more exhausting, a great workout or chasing after her 3 kids.

Dr. Evan Steinke was born in Alberta but has enjoyed traveling and living oversea in the Netherlands and Singapore. He returned to Calgary to begin his undergraduate degree at the University of Calgary. There he studied biomedical sciences and his fascination with human anatomy and health began. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology at the University of Western States in Portland Oregon which is also where he graduated with highest honors as a Doctor of Chiropractic.

Dr. Steinke’s approach to care is to incorporate the best available research with the best of clinical expertise to provide a well balanced and thorough treatment plan. Treatment techniques include a diverse range of adjusting, muscle energizing techniques, soft tissue therapies and exercise regimes. Dr. Steinke puts the patient first being sure to spend time to engage and educate each patient and to make sure they feel heard and respected.

Dr. Kathryn Kurash finds the immensely integrated way the human body functions fascinating and beautiful. To her memory, she has felt called to the health sciences.

After earning her bachelor’s degree in molecular biology from the University of Alberta, she spent many years searching for her path through research, optometry, family medicine, and public health, until she found my home in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).

By way of yoga to treat anxiety, Dr. Kurash found an acupuncturist who explained and addressed all of her symptoms. She appreciated the way Chinese Medicine acknowledges the mind-body-spirit connection and understands disease as measures of imbalance in the body with recognizable causes, mechanisms and treatment.

She uses acupuncture to treat the root cause of a disorder rather than masking its symptoms. She believes a holistic and integrative approach to wellness is the most effective and sustainable type of health care.

Dr. Kurash tries to share her knowledge and skills with her children and patients alike. Her favourite issues to treat include mental health, pediatrics, pre- and post-natal clients, pain, migraines, and fertility.

In her spare time, you can find her out with her kids or at the dog park.

Mohamed’s primary goal is to provide the specific customized treatment that promptly and effectively resolves your problem of patient ailments. His primary interest lies in helping people relax and recover from pain and restriction caused by postural strain, injury, and accidents.

Mohamed graduated from Makami College as a massage therapist in 2017. He has been a member of the CRMTA since then. Mohamed also has a background in physical education teaching and soccer training.

Mohamed specializes in sports massage, deep tissue using trigger point and active release, relaxation massage, rehab for lower back injuries, pregnancy, and orthopedic massage. He offers a customized treatment plan and can give stretches and strengthening exercises when needed. He believes that there are many roads to recovery and maintenance and loves to work with the other healthcare professionals to provide his clients with an exceptional health care journey.

When Mohamed can’t be found in the clinic, he is likely to be enjoying new adventures with his daughter and play his favourite sport, soccer.

Jamie is a Registered Massage Therapist having completed her 2200 hours at MH Vicars in Calgary, AB. She is registered with Canadian Massage and Manual Osteopathic Therapist Association (CMMOTA).

She is proficient in deep tissue massage, relaxation, sports massage, prenatal, cupping, and essential oils. She is very good at meeting the client’s expectations and tailoring her treatments to meet their needs. She is a busy mom of 5 children, so she is very comfortable treating little ones.

I am a registered massage therapist (2200 hours) through Makami College. My approach to treatment is based on the body-mind-spirit concept and I strive to provide a well rounded service tailored to your specific needs.

I specialize in deep tissue and relaxation massage, myofascial cupping, hot stone therapy and trigger point work. I offer stretching tips along with therapeutic exercise techniques as well. I look forward to working with you.

J is a graduate from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology. During this time, he was both a varsity athlete and trainer for the Dalhousie track and field team. As a result of his work with runners, he developed an interest in the management of lower leg and foot injuries. Wanting to further his knowledge in biomechanics and injury prevention, J discovered pedorthics. He attended the University of Western Ontario, obtaining a degree in pedorthics in 2016 and later that year became a Canadian Certified Pedorthist.

J’s main goal as a pedorthist is to assess posture, movement patterns, and lower-extremity musculoskeletal function. His favourite tool is video gait analysis—the ability to visually show patients exactly when/where their imbalances occur. He encourages his patients to participate in their recovery by educating them about footwear choices, at-home tips, and stretches and exercises.

Outside of work, J takes to the mountains to camp, hike, and downhill ski. He also enjoys recreational soccer and spending time with friends.
