Dr. Cameron received her BSc in kKinesiology at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver. She then worked in a chiropractic office in Calgary for 2 years. After witnessing the tremendous benefits that chiropractic offers, she moved to Toronto to complete the four-year chiropractic program at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
Dr. Cameron volunteers her time as a member of the interview team for acceptance to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Also, she is an examiner with the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board and held a position on the Medical Advisory Board with the World Health Club in Calgary. She has a keen interest in sports, having worked as a trainer with a boys Bantam AA hockey team and has competed in soccer at the university level.
Dr. Cameron’s approach to treatment focuses on the principle that optimal joint function is based on proper soft tissue function and vice versa. She utilizes various soft tissue therapies, including active release therapy, Kinesio taping, prescription of individualized exercises and stretches, and traditional chiropractic adjusting techniques. Emphasis is also placed on rehabilitation to improve strength, flexibility and mobility. As well, dietary modifications or supplementation advice is given when indicated.
Dr. Cameron is passionate about chiropractic and strives to effectively and efficiently treat the cause and symptoms for each patient. She is excited to be a member of the Optimum Wellness team and the many resources that the group has to offer.
Dr. Jas is a full-time chiropractor at the Sunridge Mall location. A born and raised Calgarian, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Calgary before obtaining her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic’s West Campus in San Jose, California, in 2012.
In the years since, Dr. Jas has completed a variety of courses and certifications to remain current in her treatment approach. These include achieving board certification as a CCSP® (Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician®), receiving accreditation in both Graston and FAKTR (Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehabilitation) which are two of the many soft tissue therapies she employs in practice, and completing courses in various kinesiology taping procedures, including RockTape.
Dr. Jas provides an evidence-based, holistic, personalized approach to Chiropractic care, including manual adjustments, soft tissue therapy, taping and rehabilitation exercises. Her goal is not only to treat injuries, but also to prevent future injuries by maintaining a healthy, pain-free lifestyle, and assisting patients in achieving their personal health goals – whether that is to go for a walk with grandchildren or complete a triathlon.
At Palmer West, Dr. Jas was a member of the prestigious Sports Council, held a position on the Student Government, founded the campus Soccer Club as well as the Co-Ed Soccer team, and had the opportunity to travel to Honduras with the Clinic Abroad program, where she provided chiropractic care at local hospitals, orphanages and fitness gyms.
Since graduating, Dr. Jas has continued pursuing her passion for providing healthcare to underserved populations, most recently having completed an outreach in Laos remote villages in 2017.
In her spare time, Dr. Jas enjoys spending time with family, friends, energetic 2-year-old Labrador retriever, Jaxon, and soccer.
Dr. Nathan Frostad grew up in Southern Alberta before moving to Calgary to complete his Bachelor of Science in human biology at Ambrose University. He then completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in Portland, Oregon, at the University of Western States, where he graduated with honours.
Dr. Frostad’s treatment approach is varied in nature, with a focus on chiropractic adjusting, soft tissue therapies, and exercises. He prioritizes patient education and giving the patient control over their care. He believes that every patient is unique and develops a treatment plan specifically for them, not only to get them out of pain but to get them moving optimally and empowering them to pursue movement and healthy living.
When not in the office, Dr. Frostad enjoys spending time outside with his wife, exploring nature throughout the city and outside of it. He is also a huge hockey fan and is often either watching or playing when he can.
Dr. Arman Bonyadi Behrouz, ND, graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, Ontario. He is registered with the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta (CNDA) and is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).
He has worked for 4 years as a physician’s assistant at the Integrative Clinic and has extensive experience with natural treatment modalities and a wide range of health concerns.
During his one-year internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic in the CCNM, he had an opportunity to work under Dr. Jonathan Prousky’s supervision focusing on mental health disorders.
Before becoming a naturopathic doctor, he practiced as a medical doctor in Iran for more than 13 years in the field of mental health disorders. After immigrating to Canada, Dr. Behrouz decided to use his knowledge and experience in naturopathic medicine as a naturopathic doctor.

Oyin is a registered physiotherapist with the Alberta College of Physiotherapy. She has a Ph.D. in Physiotherapy. She obtained her Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom where she specialized in manual therapy. She had her bachelors in Physiotherapy from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. She has practiced as a physiotherapist for over 10 years with her experience spanning Canada, the United Kingdom and Nigeria.
She focuses on treating recurring and new injuries with evidence-based physiotherapy practice. Oyin is excited to share her passion and expertise for active rehabilitation with clients of all ages and diverse conditions.
Outside of the clinic, Oyin enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cooking and travelling.
After completing a bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy from India, Anil has been practicing in Calgary as a physiotherapist since 2014. He has a total of 15 years of physiotherapy experience in various settings in India, Bahrain, and Calgary. He began his career in a private orthopedic hospital. Here he worked in trauma, joint replacement, and rheumatology units. He has extensive experience in rehabilitating all kinds of fractures, joint replacement, and all spinal conditions.
He also has experience dealing with various orthopedic conditions, MSK injuries like sprain/strain, MVA and workplace injuries. He uses joint mobilization and soft tissue mobilization combined with modalities, customized exercise programs and patient education to help improve recovery.
In his spare time, Anil loves to read, travel and spend time with his family.
Ketaki completed her Bachelors of Physiotherapy in the year 2010 in India. After graduation, she started working for a Orthopedic Hospital and later worked for a Sports and Physiotherapy Clinic in Mumbai, India for 3 years where she worked on preoperative patients to prepare them for surgery and on post operative patients to help them get back to normalcy. She also worked on athletes with sports injuries to manage their injuries and help them get back to their sports.
Ketaki worked as Physiotherapy Assistant at Genesis Physiotherapy and Sagehill physiotherapy clinic in Calgary for 2 years when she was preparing for her PCE.
Ketaki has interest in orthopedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. She likes to focus on prevention and management of lifestyle related diseases. She likes to work hard to motivate patients to lead a healthy lifestyle. To see patients get better and be independent gives her an immense sense of satisfaction.
Ketaki also practices meditation and believes that in this era of stressful and hectic life, it is equally important to cleanse our minds along with our bodies. In her spare time Ketaki bakes, paints and makes candles. She is a trained classical dancer. She also likes to be active outdoors hiking and camping (when the weather allows it!)
Born and raised in Alberta, Alisha Shivji holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology and works as a Registered Psychologist in Calgary.
Amid her professional journey, she has volunteered as a victim support worker with the Calgary Police Service and has provided counselling services to clients from culturally diverse backgrounds.
Understanding that no 2 people are the same, Alisha is inspired to provide a client-centred approach to therapy tailored to meet each individual’s unique needs.
Mindfulness, cognitive-behavioural, and solution-focused techniques are some of the more common strategies that she uses to help individuals achieve a sense of growth and improve their quality of life. She also possesses training in clinical trauma therapy, pain management, and CBT-I.
An avid Calgary Flames and Manchester United fan, Alisha enjoys a variety of activities in her spare time that include travelling, photography, reading, and watching sports and movies.
Born in Hong Kong, China, Vickie was introduced to traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) at a very young age. She grew up in a family of TCM practitioners who had a profound influence on her decision to practise Chinese medicine.
She became a registered acupuncturist in Alberta after graduating from Grant MacEwan University in 2013, where she practiced in a multidisciplinary clinic and became a certified practitioner of facial acupuncture. Two years later, she furthered her TCM study in British Columbia, where she acquired her status as a registered TCM Practitioner in 2016 and completed the Doctor of TCM education in 2017. Now based in Calgary, she is excited to offer acupuncture and herbal care to Calgarians.
She is passionate about providing treatments for a wide range of health issues, including physical discomfort, facial rejuvenation, and emotional problems. Her treatment plans are catered to the specific requirements of the individual, which are rooted in the understanding of the origin of the illness through TCM diagnostic steps.

Vignon Ahouandjinou graduated from the 2-year Massage Therapy program at CDI College in Calgary. Her skills include Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, lymphatic drainage, hydrotherapy and remedial exercise.

Tess is a Registered Massage Therapist and a current member of the Remedial Massage Therapist Association. She attended school at the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy in Calgary, where she achieved her 1100 hour Massage Therapy diploma in 2012. Continuing her studies there also completed the 2200 hour Massage Therapy diploma in 2013 upon her graduation.
She specializes in therapeutic massage therapy and has taken courses to expand her scope of deep tissue therapy. Tess is trained in several massage techniques, including Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and hydrotherapy.
She loves to spend time with family and friends, enjoys gardening, walking the family dog, and singing video karaoke.
Wendy (RMT) began her career early. In 1996 she graduated from Mount Royal Massage Therapy program and continued to further her education with Orthopedic Massage in 2015. At an early age, she realized the natural healing benefits surrounded by family members that practiced the traditions of natural medicine and alternative health to benefit those in need.
Wendy specializes in deep tissue therapy as well as a myofascial release with the use of myofascial cupping. Those with injuries, back pain, and everyday aches will benefit from Wendy’s knowledge and strength.
Realiza Martecio has 3000 hours of training. She is a graduate from Makami College. Realiza is skilled in therapeutic treatments, deep tissue work, trigger points, dynamic cupping, myofascial release, lymphatic drainage, and joint mobilizations. Realiza also has training in advanced orthopedic massage therapy.
Realiza arrived in Calgary 12 years ago. At home she enjoys cooking and always has a smile on her face.
Stanley has been treating patients in the medical profession for 30 years and started in the custom foot orthotic field 20 years ago. His passion for pedorthics drives his ability to find helpful solutions and to share educational information with his patients. He strives to provide the best possible experience in foot care. His patients regularly comment on his thoroughness and attention to detail in his assessments which include an analysis of posture, biomechanical gait movement patterns and lower extremity musculoskeletal function. Video gait analysis provides the ability to visually show patient exactly when and where their imbalances occur. He encourages his patients to participate in their own recovery by taking the time to educate them about their medical condition, footwear selection, orthotics and home rehabilitation programs.
Stanley graduated with a Diploma in Sports Injury Management (Athletic Therapy) from Sheridan College in 1991 after completing a Bachelor of Physical Education from Brock University. He subsequently became a Certified Athletic Therapist in 1992, a Canadian Red Cross Emergency Medical Responder Instructor in 2000, a Certified Pedorthic Technician in 2002 and a Certified Pedorthist in 2003. Stanley has been a member of the Canadian Athletic Therapist Association since 1990, a Canadian Red Cross Training Partner since 2000 and a member of the College of Pedorthics of Canada / Pedorthic Association of Canada since 2002.
Stanley recharges his energy by engaging in outdoor pursuits, especially on a sunny, warm Alberta day. To keep active, Stanley currently participates in camping, white water river kayaking, alpine skiing, mountain biking, jogging, martial arts as well as weight and cardio training. Stanley also enjoys riding his motorcycle in the mountains during the warmer months of the year.
