Traditional Healing Techniques for Pain Relief
Acupuncture is a 3,000-year-old technique based on Traditional Chinese Medicine that works to stimulate the balance and flow of Qi (pronounced chee) energy in the body. It’s thought that when the body is healthy, Qi flows freely through its conceptual pathways. When the balance or flow of Qi is obstructed, the body becomes more susceptible to disease and illness.
Acupuncture is a safe and effective alternative to medication that can treat both the symptoms and causes of a patient’s illness. Acupuncture stimulates the release of endorphins (the body’s natural pain-relieving neurohormones) through the insertion of superfine needles into specific body points to encourage natural healing.
