The patient lies comfortably on a bed secured by an upper and lower body harness, for a treatment session of 30 minutes. The computer-controlled, high-tech motor very slowly stretches open the injured disc which reduces the pressure inside the disc to highly negative pressure. This helps to draw fluids and nutrients into the injured disc allowing it to heal, which relieves back or neck pain. As the disc injury heals with scar tissue, the scar tissue shrinks and this reduces the size of the bulge or herniation by 50% on average, relieving the buttock and leg pain (sciatica) and numbness that many people suffer from.

Made the mistake of going to another provider based on them open on Saturday, what a mistake. Minimal relieve and care. I returned to Dr. Jamie Mulholland in Airdrie and what a difference. Hips line up, pain on standing gone, not hunched over due to lower and upper back pain, headaches relieve in the first visit back to Dr. Jamie. Won’t venture away again.
