Dr. Nico was born and raised in Hinton, Alberta before leaving home to study kinesiology at the University of Alberta Augustana campus for four years. He first started seeing a chiropractor at a young age due to sports injuries and wellness care. After taking his bachelor’s in kinesiology, he moved to San Jose, California to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic West to obtain his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. After four more years of schooling, he graduated with honours and moved to Calgary to start practicing.
Dr. Nico likes to get to the root of your problem through an extensive history and examination to help build a unique treatment plan for each patient. He uses a wide array of techniques including diversified adjusting techniques, soft tissue techniques, rehabilitative exercises, and patient education. His primary goal is to help reduce your pain and prevent future injuries through education and exercise.
When not in the clinic, Dr. Nico loves spending time with friends and family and leads an active lifestyle. Some of his favourite activities include hockey, hiking, running, and weightlifting.

Shu-Yun Yang is a graduate from the Makami College Massage Therapy program. Shu-Yun specializes in deep tissue and cupping techniques for muscle relaxation but is also certified in other techniques. Shu-Yun displays excellent care for her clients by personally customizing each massage session based on the client's needs.
S-Yun loves the serenity of nature and the great outdoors and will take any opportunity to embrace it through camping trips. Shu-Yun also finds great joy in cooking and has mastered a wide variety of vegetarian delicacies.

Elizabeth Tabuena is a registered massage therapist and a certified laser therapist. She is an active member of MTAA.
She has always been interested in both scientific and alternative treatments. From being a registered Medical technologist (laboratory), she shifted her profession to an alternative treatment that prompted her to study Massage Therapy Diploma.
Combining Massage and cold laser therapy she uses it as a tool to help people recover from acute and chronic pains due to trauma, stress-related injuries, and other issues. In her spare time, she likes going for a long drive, soaking in a hot spring, and camping.

Lisa Carlson has a master’s degree in counseling psychology and is a registered psychologist in the province of Alberta. She enjoys working with people to increase their quality of life and make the changes necessary to reach their personal goals. Lisa offers an emphatic and supportive therapy style, which allows people to feel comfortable sharing their experiences. Stanley has been treating patients in the medical profession for 30 years and started in the custom foot orthotic field 20 years ago. His passion for pedorthics drives his ability to find helpful solutions and to share educational information with his patients. He strives to provide the best possible experience in foot care. His patients regularly comment on his thoroughness and attention to detail in his assessments which include an analysis of posture, biomechanical gait movement patterns, and lower extremity musculoskeletal function. Video gait analysis provides the ability to visually show the patient exactly when and where their imbalances occur. He encourages his patients to participate in their own recovery by taking the time to educate them about their medical condition, footwear selection, orthotics, and home rehabilitation programs.
Stanley graduated with a Diploma in Sports Injury Management (Athletic Therapy) from Sheridan College in 1991 after completing a Bachelor of Physical Education from Brock University. He subsequently became a Certified Athletic Therapist in 1992, a Canadian Red Cross Emergency Medical Responder Instructor in 2000, a Certified Pedorthic Technician in 2002, and a Certified Pedorthist in 2003. Stanley has been a member of the Canadian Athletic Therapist Association since 1990, a Canadian Red Cross Training Partner since 2000 and a member of the College of Pedorthics of Canada / Pedorthic Association of Canada since 2002.
